I'm the photographer behind Swee-t-Photography, and I've been photographing newborns, babies and families for over 13 years. Based in Tanunda, in the heart of the Barossa Valley, I specialise in maternity, newborn and baby photography, creating beautiful, timeless portraits that capture the tiny details, connections and personalities of your growing family.

Newborn photography has always held a very special place in my heart. There is something incredibly meaningful about being invited into those first few days of your baby's life and preserving all those tiny details you'll one day wish you could remember exactly as they were.

​

While newborns are my greatest passion and speciality, I also adore photographing the beautiful stages that surround them — from the anticipation of pregnancy to those gorgeous family moments and relaxed sunset sessions as your little ones grow. Being able to photograph a family through these different chapters is something I truly treasure.

My private studio is located in Tanunda, in the heart of the Barossa Valley — just under 60 minutes from Adelaide CBD. Many of my families travel from Adelaide and surrounding areas for their newborn experience, and I'm always delighted to welcome them to the Barossa.

​

When I'm not behind the camera, I'm usually at home with my husband and our two girls. Being a mum myself, I understand just how quickly these little seasons of family life pass — and how precious it is to have beautiful photographs that allow you to hold onto them.

A little about my approach

My approach is relaxed, gentle and highly personalised. I take the time to get to know your family and your vision before your session, then carefully bring everything together in the studio — from the colours and textures to the styling and little details that make your photographs uniquely yours.

After more than 13 years specialising in newborn photography and photographing over 1,000 babies, newborn safety is at the heart of everything I do. I have undertaken extensive training in newborn posing, handling and safety, and take great care to ensure your baby is comfortable, supported and never placed in an unsafe position. I work at your baby's pace, allowing plenty of time for feeding, settling and cuddles whenever they're needed.

I love creating something distinctive for every little one. My studio is filled with a carefully curated collection of props, textures, fabrics and handmade pieces sourced from Australia and around the world. Rather than following a single formula, I design each session around your baby and your family's preferences, creating portraits that feel beautiful, considered and uniquely yours.

Every image is individually hand edited and professionally finished, with the option to turn your favourite photographs into beautiful printed artwork and heirloom keepsakes for your home.
