When is the best time to do a maternity session?

Maternity sessions are generally scheduled for when you are between 31-37weeks pregnant.
Most mothers to be aren't too uncomfortable and your beautiful belly is nice and round.

Help! I'm not confident in front of the camera!

Many mums-to-be feel this way and theres no need to feel self conscious about your beautiful new pregnancy curves. It's my job to make you feel relaxed during your session and feel good about yourself too. It's time to embrace that beautiful belly! I am a mum too and I know exactly how you’re feeling. With my skill in lighting and shooting angles along with selecting the most flattering maternity gown for you, I'll have you feeling super confident in no time.

What do I wear?

Leave it to me! I have a wide range of gorgeous maternity gowns sourced locally and from all around the world for you to select from.
Various sizes and styles available are available. We can discuss which gowns you would like to wear once you have locked in a session date. Generally you will have 2-3 gown changes depending on the types of photos you are after.

Can my family be involved?

Absolutely YES! Partners and any of your other children are welcome and I strongly encourage some family shots at the beginning of the session. Using the lifestyle bed set up in the studio will allow for some natural and relaxed portraits. It's a great opportunity to capture the unspoken connection between family who are excited to meet your new baby, it’s precious to document this celebration before your new baby arrives.

When should I book my maternity session?

I strongly encourage booking your maternity session as soon as possible as I only take on a limited number of sessions each month. 
As soon as you have your due date its best to make contact and we can schedule your session in.

What about a newborn session?

If you wish to carry on documenting this special journey in your life, why not add on a newborn session too. All clients who book a newborn session at the time of booking a maternity session will receive 50% off the newborn session fee. Where are you located?

Swee-t-Photography Studio is located in the Tanunda the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley. Only a short 20minute drive from Gawler, 50 minutes from Blanchetown or 60 minutes from Adelaide CBD using the northern connector.
